*** I strongly suggest getting your currency exchanged prior to arrival if at all possible. Most places prefer cash. Some restaurants will accept cards but very few.
Day 1 (September 5) Sat - Luberon area of Provence
Meet in the lobby of the Best Western Hotel, Marseille airport at 12h00 noon
Transfer to the Luberon area of Provence
Welcome/briefing meeting and go through the itinerary
First walk-about photo shoot in the picturesque village, followed by dinner in traditional bistro

Day 2 (September 6) Sunday - Stone Roman Bridge
After breakfast we visit and photograph another beautiful village and an old stone Roman Bridge
In the afternoon we visit a historical 17th century hamlet built of dry stones and showcasing an ancestral art of building and know-how, that has since disappeared. We will also visit a famous working Abbey, finishing the day with a sunset shoot of one of the most beautiful villages in France

Day 3 (September 7) Monday - Early morning photo shoot
Early morning photo shoot of the sunrise lighting up the ochre-coloured rock of the village
After breakfast we will visit the final charming, Provencal village
In the afternoon, we head to a beautiful old farmhouse/hotel in a nearby village for a culinary workshop and tasting, followed by a meal in their charming restaurant

Day 4 (September 8) Tue - Beautiful mediaeval town
After breakfast we check out of the hotel and head to the Camargue, stopping to visit a stunning Roman Aqueduct bridge on the way
In the evening, we will visit the beautiful mediaeval town and enjoy an early dinner at one of the delightful bistros

Day 5 (September 9) Wednesday - Photo shoot with birdlife

Day 6 (September 10) Thursday - Roman Amphitheatre
After breakfast, we head for historical Nimes, with its Roman Amphitheatre and one of the best-preserved Roman temples in the world. We will also enjoy a visit to the first public gardens in Europe which houses Roman remains, including the 1st century Temple of Diane and the Magne Tower, built in the first century BC

Day 7 (September 11) Friday - Salt Mine, lagoon and galloping on the beach
After breakfast, we will visit the Aigues-Mortes and will photograph the medieval town and the Salt Mine.
Late afternoon, we have the last photo session with the Camargue Wild White Horses at a peaceful lagoon and galloping on the beach and in the sea until sunset

Day 8 (September 12) Saturday - check out of the hotel and head to Marseille airport
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and head to Marseille airport, arriving by 12h00 noon for afternoon flights (from 2pm onwards)
Optional for those staying an extra night on Saturday (with Sunday flights)
Check in to the hotel at Marseille airport to drop luggage. Then take the bus or a taxi to Aix-en-Provence for the day
