Itinerary

Day 1 - Sep 3 — Arrival in Dubrovnik

Arrive, settle in, and we'll meet for a welcome dinner and workshop briefing. After dinner, head straight out for our first sunset shoot looking over the illuminated rooftops of Old Town — a perfect introduction to what lies ahead.

Sep 3 — Arrival in Dubrovnik

Day 2 - Sep 4 — Dubrovnik — Old Town

An early alarm is well worth it — we'll be in the cobblestone alleys before the crowds arrive, working the textures, arches, and architecture in that gorgeous morning light. Rest in the afternoon, then back out for sunset from the city walls.

Sep 4 — Dubrovnik — Old Town

Day 3 - Sep 5 — Day trip to Montenegro

We cross into Montenegro for the day — photographing the island church of Our Lady of the Rocks in Perast, wandering the medieval lanes of Kotor, and ending with a glowing sunset over the Bay of Kotor before returning to Dubrovnik.

Sep 5 — Day trip to Montenegro

Day 4 - Sep 6 — Coastal drive to Plitvice

We leave Dubrovnik and wind our way up the Adriatic coast — one of the most scenic drives in all of Europe. Multiple photo stops including Rastoke along the way, and arrive at Plitvice Lake.

Sep 6 — Coastal drive to Plitvice

Day 5 - Sep 7— Plitvice Lakes National Park

Early entry lets us experience the lakes and cascading waterfalls before the crowds arrive. We'll spend the full day here — this is one of the most photogenic UNESCO sites in the world, and we won't rush it. I'll walk you through long exposure techniques and compositional choices throughout the day.

Sep 7— Plitvice Lakes National Park

Day 6 - Sep 8— Plitvice to Ljubljana

We cross into Slovenia and arrive in Ljubljana in time for the blue hour — the city's bridges, castle, and riverside cafés glow beautifully in that transitional light. Then we drive on to Lake Bled to wake up for one of the most iconic sunrises in Europe.

Sep 8— Plitvice to Ljubljana

Day 7 - Sep 9 — Lake Bled

Sunrise from the classic viewpoints overlooking the island church and its mirror-like reflections. We'll spend the morning exploring different perspectives around the lake, followed by an afternoon editing session where I'll work through your images with you.

Sep 9 — Lake Bled

Day 8 - Sep 10 — Sveti Tomaž & Alpine countryside

Our final shooting day — and it's a memorable one. We rise before dawn for the sunrise shoot at the hilltop Sveti Tomaž Church, then spend the morning exploring Slovenia's rolling alpine countryside. A fitting farewell dinner rounds out the evening.

Sep 10 — Sveti Tomaž & Alpine countryside

Day 9 - 9 Sep 11 — Departure from Zagreb

Transfer to Zagreb for your onward flights — and a suitcase full of images you'll be proud of.
